I pulled in from Washington last night just in time to wake this morning to the first “Real Snow” of 2015.
We’ve got lots of wind blowing and sideways snow … and … yes, those are the reclaimed green shutters that I had planned on cutting down for shutters to the front window of the Stone Cottage Pottery. Perhaps, when the snow and wind stops, I’ll go dig those out, and store them for a spring project!
Everyone at the farm is pretty much in for the day. I’m regrouping after a show in Spokane, Wa. and
the animals are all bedded down in the barn.
As for the lake, well, it appears to have gone south for the winter.
We’ll have to wait for the next clear day to get a glimpse of her.
Time for soups, stews, good books, old movies, knitting, and fires to keep us warm and cozy.
